Lately I've been producing some gifsets (several gifs in one post) on tumblr based on scenes from stories that are set in the SwitchVerse or pre-SwitchVerse. I doubt there's an easy way to upload them here on deviantART and I reckon putting all six gifs into one gif for each set would make incredibly large files, but I thought some of you might like to see them. I can't promise a huge amount, or regular updates, but I'm quite likely to still produce them once in a while.

They'll all appear under the 'SwitchVerse Gifs' tag on my tumblr (which is linked to on my sidebar), with the most recent first, but for those who don't use tumblr I will update this journal with links (in chronological order) to each one as I do them.

This is just a short journal entry to warn you that I'm making some adjustments to the stories I've already posted, specifically SwitchVerse/Pre-SwitchVerse ones. It'll be largely minor edits though, and I aim to do them in the next hour or two (so this may have already been done by the time you see it), I've just been thinking about how I've written about Rose being conflicted over calling Pete 'Dad' (even though she does call him that on the beach in Doomsday) and I'm gonna rewrite small parts to just have it that Pete and Jackie explain things to her practically as soon as they fully work it out themselves - because that seems more like what they'd do, especially with Jackie so close to Rose and them wanting to help ease her heartache. I think this'll just change Pre-SwitchVerse stories apart from Not Just Your Dad But Your Father Too which would obviously become invalid, I'm just not sure whether to delete it (or perhaps just remove it from the SwitchVerse folder, what do you think?) Off the top of my head I think it'll mean a minor change to Both our Children, Precious, and Truly My Dad (The last one probably having a change of title as a result.)

Anyway I'm going to go off and do this now. I'll update this when it's done.

Update: So I've now made adjustments to the following stories:

Truly My Dad - Retitled as Only A Few Weeks and has had quite a bit of dialogue edited, but is still basically just a story set a few weeks after Jackie and Rose come to Pete's World, where Jackie and Pete tell Rose they're renewing their vows & that she's pregnant (with Tony.)
Both Their Children - Removed 2 lines that featured dialogue, making two paragraphs into one.
Precious - Removed one line.
Not Just Your Dad but Your Father Too - Removed from the SwitchVerse folder and labelled as using ideas from the SwitchVerse but not being part of it. This may be deleted at some point.

The Doctor's Wife by ~movielover44

She wrote this fic with the intention of it being set in the SwitchVerse and I absolutely love it. (Contains spoilers for "The Wedding Of River Song".)

I'm just completely astounded that she likes the verse so much to even think about writing something set in it. I was literally sobbing when I read it from the surprise and the joy of it all and it just captures them both really well, and actually captures so much of their relationship in such a small amount of space.

There are not words to describe how happy this has made me so thank you ~movielover44 I love you so much.

The Question by ~IamHewolf

Now I guess this one strictly isn't in the SwitchVerse however it is Eleven/River with him confessing to her that he's the metacrisis (so therefore the switch happens and the SwitchVerse is happening in Pete's World). Now even when i'm not really a shipper of Eleven/River this fic really demonstrates love between them in a way that the show never has (and so makes me actually inclined to want to ship them and I would if they were like this in the show) and also manages to keep the necessary amount of character continuity and development (from Nine and Ten to Eleven) that would make Eleven feel more like the Doctor to me (even when he's the metacrisis.) It has him eager to not have to keep secrets from River and make sure that she knows how much he loves her. It manages to be emotional and funny at the same time and is utterly endearing. I love it to pieces, the first Eleven fic, let alone Eleven/River that i've ever loved. Do read it, you won't regret it.

Thank you so much! It was a complete and utter surprise, especially since I haven't spoken to you much more than in reply to reviews. Honestly you have no idea how much this means to me. I love you, you brilliant person!

What Do Time Lords Pray To? by ~midnighttopha

Again this one isn't Pete's World orientated but involves Eleven, and although this isn't quite how I see Eleven as being/thinking/feeling down to the fact he's a metacrisis, it still fits in with the SwitchVerse (as stated in the authors comments). It certainly captures the doubts about himself though - like what does being a metacrisis make him? - it has him questioning if he was ever the man Rose believed in or is all that really just another man's memories to him. Anyway, go and read it before I give too much away.

Birthday Surprise by ~midnighttopha

A beautiful birthday present from her in the form of this fic - the title cleverly having two meanings - whilst I still maintain that I get to decide when their TARDIS is ready for them I do love this fic. So full of love and affection between the Doctor and Rose and a touch of cheekiness from him - an all round brilliant example of some of what makes them & their love so entirely beautiful. Just brilliant.

Just incase anyone is interested

Got my results the other day! I was SO pleased! Got 5A*s - Maths, Business Studies, Statistics and double ICT, and 9 As - English Language, English Literature, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, French, German, RE and Geography!

I couldn't believe it I thought I was gonna do really bad at french and german coz of the Orals and I kept getting Bs in all my english coursework! But I did it! YAY!!!!! So now im staying on to do sixth form!
